This is a sposored post. As always my reviews are honest.

Traveling to ancient times through the lenses of a camera it”s a magical experience. The last pharaoh, Cleopatra, was renowned for her radiant skin and stunning beauty.

History books explain that she soaked in sour donkey milk to keep a beautiful and youthful skin. Milk baths were one of her many beauty rituals. The lactic acid in milk is an alpha hydroxy acid, which helps cleanse the skin and release dead skin cells.
In her milk baths, she also added Dead Sea salts for its healing properties and to exfoliate. Queen Cleo, also used milk and honey on her face to hydrate it.

In modern times, full-fat or whole milk gives good benefits to your skin. Buttermilk is a better exfoliator. To make milk baths more beneficial and pretty they can be accompanied with herbs, flowers, slices of lemons, and candles around the tub. I chose wine and travel magazines to start planning my next adventure.

Vagabond Brunette will be traveling this year to Belize, Cuba, Honduras, Mexico, France, Spain, and to several States. Going to places expands my cultural knowledge and love for life.

I will be visiting many local, national and international beaches. Cuba and Tulum have some of the most stunning beaches. After learning about Cleopatras’s beauty rituals and the benefits of milk baths, honey, and castor, sesame and moringa oil. I will be pampering myself to rock a gorgeous skin in summer.

One important thing to me is choosing my swimwear carefully to feel confident, comfortable, and sexy. Feeling confident enhances the beach or pool experience. The Colombian Marketplace has a beautiful variety of swimwear. From bikinis to coverup dresses. As some of you must know by now, I love me some pink. My coverup is cute, comfy, and perfect for those afternoons watching the sunset from a beach bar.

I am a curvy Latina and I don’t always feel confident, and precisely because of that I love my coverup and the long-sleeved swimsuit from The Colombian Marketplace. I shouldn’t expose myself to the sun because of the ashes dermatitis I suffer from. But I am a beach bum! The ocean and I are besties. The long-sleeved swimsuits and coveup dresses protect my skin while giving me the freedom to enjoy.

Take your time to plan your vacations. Get a milk bath or just a warm bath, a glass of wine, and a travel magazine. I invite you to expand your knowledge by traveling as far as you can.

Crossing off places from my bucket list is exciting. Come with me through my photos in my Instagram gallery. @vagabondbrunette

A milk bath definitely sounds so relaxing right now. Being a mom, I could use all the relaxation time. It sounds like you have some amazing travel opportunities. Can’t wait to read about them! Hope they are the best ever!
Oh I love this!! How gorgeous are your photos!! I’ve never had a milk bath before, now I really want to!
I always choose a “conservative” style of swimwear. Lately I have chosen long sleeved swimwear/rash guards. I feel more comfortable and a bit more confident if I can “hide” the flaws. I will have to check out Columbian Marketplace soon. Summer will be here sooner than we think. Oh, and thank you for the inspiration – I am giving myself a milk bath too. Time to pamper this tired old self.
Your pictures are really good and very well clicked I must say and milk baths are indeed very good.
I love the quality of your photos here. Very nice. Milk baths are amazing. I need more of them.
I love everything in these photos.. from the flowers to set up; from the milk to wines.. and yeah I love milk bath too.
